SoundTracking is a social song sharing app that lets others know the music you are listening to.
The application works in parallel to popular music apps like Spotify, Rdio, and Google Music. SoundTracking allows you to tag songs, share an artist image, and add a location. By supporting Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare, SoundTracking connects to your friends lists and shares the chosen music.
SoundTracking’s interface is simple. Highlighting friends' shares before trending posts, the app lets you know what friends are listening to. Also including music recognition software, SoundTracking can listen to music through the microphone and attempt to identify the songs.
Like most social music apps, the library of recognized music is large, but there are artists that it may not recognize especially in other languages. SoundTracking also does not support automatic posting of songs so all entries have to be manually posted. It is up to you to add new posts.
SoundTracking is a simple social music sharing app, but still contains some usability bugs.
